Mishele is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She has a license in the State of Vermont (telehealth only). She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Psychology from Florida State University. Mishele has over thirty years of experience helping people. She has worked in various capacities in the social services/psychological fields. She has held positions as a school social worker at PACE Center for Girls, an in-home intensive therapist at Child Guidance Center, an in-patient therapist at NE Florida State Hospital in Macclenny, an adjunct professor at Florida Metropolitan University and a victim services advocate at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. She was trained as a Traumatologist and Compassion Fatigue Specialist by Charles Figley, Ph. D. at the Traumatology Institute at FSU in 1998. She is qualified as a Level Two EMDR practitioner to address trauma, anxiety, etc. in an effective holistic manner. She has served as a volunteer in many social services settings and has held board positions at Ronald McDonald House and Betty Griffin House in St. Johns County. She has been voted best Children's Therapist at Jax4kids in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2015.
